i'll give you panavision pictures 'cause you give me technicolor dreams
So while waiting for a movie to start, my sister had to sit through the inevitable (seemingly unending) stream of previews. And then one came on, better than the rest. Perhaps you've seen it yourself? www.imdb.com gives us a plot outline: "On board a flight over the Pacific Ocean, an assassin, bent on killing a passenger who's a witness in protective custody, lets loose a crate full of deadly snakes." Yes, that's right. I'm talking about Snakes On A Plane. Apparently, a fellow movie-goer saw this and said, "Next thing you know it'll be Sharks On A Train." This is clearly one of those "if it weren't for my horse" moments. I love the crowd of unwashed, uneducated cretins that makes its way to the theatres on a daily basis. They make the movie-going experience priceless. In the middle of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, a ship surges out on the lake, having traveled underwater. Behind me a young teenage male said, "That's not possible!" (Keep in mind this is HARRY POTTER, and pretty much nothing is possible...especially not that Hermione is actually attracted to Ron. Puberty has not been kind to him.) Anyway, first guy says, "That's not possible!" and the second answers, "Your mom's not possible!" Seriously. I <3 the movie theatre.
